I haven't been updating the news of this site that often - as Christmas and New Years sends to turn everything out of sync, but I wish all of you a very happy (and late) new year.

Looking at future releases, is anyone else disappointed at the lack of new big-name releases in 2010? There seems to be very few games due out this year that really catch my fancy, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is one of the few games I can honestly say I'm interested in trying out, but unlike normal, it's not one of those projects that I've been following religiously. It'll also be interested to see how Crysis 2 turns out, but having the engine also designed for consoles means there must be some setbacks somewhere, and the lack of PC engine footage really does not help my lack of enthausiasm for the project! It's gotten to the point now where I've even given up doing my daily searches for new footage.

Bioshock 2 is another one of the games that may turn out okay - I was a huge fan of the original, but the fact that you play through this time as a uber-powerful Big Daddy ruins the idea of the game for me.
